MURPHY, Arthur Andrew.

Surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday 7 October 2025, aged 82 years. Loved husband of the late Mary. Cherished father and father-in-law of Janice, and John and the late Marie. Beloved grandad of John and Kym, Drew, Rebecca, Annabel; and great-grandad of Chloe, and Hunter. Treasured brother of Margaret, David, Gordon, Marian, and June. Loved brother-in-law of Neville, the late George, the late Margaret, Jennifer, James, Bob, Gay, Ian and Tony. A service to celebrate Arthur's life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Thursday 9 October at 2pm followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery. Rest in piece my fun loving uncle. You and your sense of humour will be sorely missed. Thank you so much for showing me around your beloved garden on my last visit and passing on your tips in the hope that I may be able to grow grapes and vegetables as great as yours. My thoughts and love are with Janice, John and family.

For Judi and I it has been a privilege to know Arthur and Mary. We unfortunately couldn't be at the funeral service, but obviously they are sadly missed .
