Sellars, Mavis Linda (nee Beer)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer in her 90th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Irwin and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Lynley and Trevor Taylor and Douglas (Doug) and Dulcie Sellars. Loved Grandma and great-grandma of Zachary, Rebecca, Henry and George Taylor, Christopher Taylor and his partner Becky, and Charlie. Friend of Juanita, Melanie and Brendan and their families. Loved daughter of Syd* and Gladys* Beer. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Max* and Meryle*, Mervyn* and Phyllis*, Sid* and Melva, Leslie and Joan*, Ngarita and Mabin Calder, Graham* and Katherine Sellars, Cliff* and Maida* Sellars. Dearly loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to all of the staff at Vickery Court for their loving care of Mavis and also to Haidee and Rebecca and the Hospice Southland team.

Sympathies to all of Mavis’s family on the loss of your Mum. The Sellars family was such a part of the Dipton community. Mavis was skilled musician and had a wonderful doll collection. Memories are special

Rest easy Aunty Mavis, gutted I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye but grateful for the last chat I had with you at home about what’s happening in my life and what I’m planning for the future, I’m glad your at rest now awaiting the resurrection. Love you and miss you always x
