Sheryll has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, through many iterations of camp. From Ardlussa days by the creek that flooded every second year to now - Sheryll and Galv are constants. Sheryll was sharp, funny, and never one for fuss. Quick with a comeback and always ready to laugh, she made every gathering better just by being there.

One of my favourite memories will always be the time she ate a moth in the green roofed ‘mess tent’ one particularly big night and then laughed harder than anyone else about it. That moment sums her up perfectly: fearless, dry-humoured, and completely herself.

I’m so sorry she’s gone and I can’t be there to celebrate her full life.

All my love to the family, camp just won’t be the same without her.

Rest easy my dear friend. You were one of a kind and I will miss you dearly. I will never forget the fun times we had or the look on my son’s face when I brought him around for trick or treating and you would give him a carrot. Give Kieth a hug from me and tell him I miss him. Condolences to Galv and family. Love Jodi 💞 #f**kcancer!!

Shez, what a lady! Have been thinking alot the last wee while about all the memories. From essentially being our second mum looking after us all growing up, jamming us all in your car. The day you took us all to the movies and Nath needed to go toilet, the rest of us didn't want to wait so we went to play on the escalators at the library, you weren't impressed. Paying us to pull out our wiggly teeth so we would get double the money per tooth. Thinking of Galv, Hayley, Jarad and families at this time x
