Has played his last end in his final bowling tournament on Tuesday 3rd February 2026, passed away at Hospice Southland, aged 69 years.
Peacefully in Jan’s loving arms, with his family by his side.
Dearly loved husband of Jan for 42 years.
Much loved and respected father of Liam and Alyce.
Treasured Grandad of Ella, Barron and Soren.
Beloved brother of Barry and Val.
Loved son in law of Bob and Linda* Stevenson.
Loved brother in law of Rex and Andrea Stevenson.
Dearly loved by his nieces and nephews, and his extended family of Jolene, Taylah, Jared, Piper, Eli and Rico.
Good friend, coach and mentor to many.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be gratefully appreciated and can be left at his service.
A service to celebrate Ian’s life will be held on Wednesday 11th February 2026, 1.30pm in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill.
