One of Southland’s icons, Liz will be missed by so many friends and her loving family. She was always generous and kind. A giver not a taker.

Dear Hugh and family,
It was with great sadness that I read of the death of Elizabeth a few days ago. I had known her for many years - through her membership of North Church and also the Invercargill North Inner Wheel club. She was a loving wife and mother and devoted her time and energy to you all plus giving much of her spare time to a range of Invercargill activities and charity causes. I remember well her cheerfulness, and willingness to help with all sorts of community activities. She will be sorely missed but the comfort is that she is now at peace and will not suffer any more.
My deepest sympathy and love to you all

Dear Hugh and the extended family
We were sad to hear of Elizabeth’s passing. The smile on her tribute page says it all - No matter what was happening she was always cheerful, seeing the bright side, and above all, thinking of others. She leaves the legacy of being a person people were privileged to know.
