GRIFFIN, Patricia Mary (Pat):

Passed away peacefully at Ascot Bupa Care Home, Invercargill, on Sunday 8th March 2026. Aged 94 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late John.

Loved mother of Marion*, Pauline*, Patrick*, and Laurence. Mother-in-law of Shirley. Treasured and adored Nana of all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Loved Aunty and friend to many.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Theresa of Lisieux Church, 40 Perth Street, Invercargill, on Friday, 13th March, at 10.00am. Followed by interment at Tuatapere Cemetery, arriving approximately at 2pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7.00pm on Thursday 12th March, at St Theresa’s.

Patty, Mrs. G, was a wonderful, cheerful friend to Jean and our mother Louise de Wilde. They stayed in touch, even from a distance, until the very end. They always cherish the outings together as young families. A loving friendship, full of humor. Ed and I are very grateful that we, along with Robyn Harris, were able to share an unforgettable day with her and her family in 2022. We wish everyone strength in coping with this great loss.
