Joyce was a lovely lady. I'll miss our catch ups over a cup of tea with Joyce's delicious baking, where we swapped news of how each other's family were getting on. We'd also share photos of each other's latest knitting project. Deepest sympathy to all the family and RIP Joyce.
Elizabeth Marshall, Invercargill
Dearest Joyce - couldn't believe your death notice in the paper today. You were such a dear friend, so welcoming when we came to visit, no one could bake or make savouries like you could, always interested hearing of our family and what we had been up to since we last were in Invercargill to visit you. Your beautiful garden that you kept so incredibly well, even in these last years when it must have been a struggle for you. I was talking to you on the phone the day in October when the big wind hit Invercargill right on lunch time. You told me it was the worst wind you had ever experienced and you were frightened. I rang back later to check you were ok. With Ron and you, we had so many happy days when Ron and I worked together at Newfield school. I'll miss our phone chats.
To Barry, Christine and Joanne - my sincere condolences on losing your dear wee Mum. She really was a special person who will be missed in a lot of circles in Invercargill. My thoughts are will you all at this very sad time.

It was a thrill for me to meet Joyce and Ron's daughter recently whole camping and to remember the lovely times we had at bowls together.
Sending my condolences to the family

Auntie Joyce you will be sadly missed and you were a part of my families life for many years. You and Ron were always welcoming when our family visited. A cup of tea and always a bicky or a piece of loaf which couldn’t be resisted. And of course a beer or two in the earlier days .
You and Ron had a special relationship with my Mum and Dad before their passing several years ago. Something I will always remember. Many a good night had.
On behalf of the Robb family God bless and go fly with the angels. You will always have a place in our hearts.
Love David and Yvonne, Gareth and Megan, Holly and Vincent, Sarah and Scott.

The Patersons were neighbours to my in-laws in Tweed Street for many years. A very kind and caring lady. Condolences to her family.
