FERGUSON, John Aird:

Peacefully in the wonderful care of Hospice Southland, on 21 March 2026, aged 86 years.

Much loved husband of Delva for 60 years.

Loving father and father-in-law of Nadine and Colin, Adele and Jared, Annette and Malcolm.

Special Grandad of Corinne and Narelle. Grandfather of Krystal, Ruben and Dylan, Geoffrey, Ben, Jamie and Ellyn, Erika and Royce.

Brother and brother-in-law of Alex* and Verna*, Dale and Allan, Glenys and Ken.

John was a life member of Woodlands Bowling Club, where he spent many happy times.

I remember years ago when John and my father (Gordon from Dipton) bought and bred stud sheep together.. Oh the years have flown .

Delva, I was sad to read of John's death. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. He was great to play indoor bowls with, he taught me a lot. Always calm and a pleasure to bowl with.. God bless you.
