HUNTER Robert (Bert)

Our loved Bert peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday 30th March 2026, in his 83rd year.

Cherished husband and best friend of Averil for 67 years.

Dearly loved father and father in law of Steph and Robin, Keri and Murray, Kenneth, Ashley and Sasha.

Adored Grandad Bert of Justin and Paris, Reegan; Brayden and Monique, Ryan and Alice, Shannen and Shaun, Karley and Jeremy; Keryn, Jaydon, and Logan; Jackson, McKenzie and Ruby, and Sienna.

Loved Great Grandad Bertie of Oliver, Jack, Georgia, Becca, Amelia, Millie, Oakley, Macklin, Iylee and Lacey.

Brother in law of Allan and Joy.

Family sincerely thank St John Ambulance and Hospice Southland for their dedication and care of Bert.

As per Bert’s wishes a private family service will be held.
