My NZ family is feeling sad and I am feeling the sadness together with them.
Helena’s friend Margaret from Invercargill let me know.
I have many fond memories of Monica. We had a bond.
I liked Monica and I know she liked me.
At Helena’s and my wedding Monica called me over to sit at her table and officially become one of naughty members of the family…….and then every time we spoke there was a tinge of cheekiness in the air.
Sitting here, I can see her face so clearly.
Her skin is smooth and her eyes are bright She is busy making more and more sandwiches for the family, in her and Rick’s beautiful brand new house in Arrowtown, looking happy and healthy and generous and proud.
Rick, Helena and I always thought you and Monica had a very close relationship.
Sending lots of love to you all,
Melvyn.
