HAGGERTY, Hillary Robert:
'Hill' passed away peacefully after a short illness on 13 April 2026. Dearly loved soulmate of Patricia's for 63 years.

Much loved Dad of Warren and Kirstin, Daryl and Maree, Tracy and Allan. Special grandad to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved brother, uncle, cousin of all his family.

Sad to hear of Hill's passing, always enjoyed our sporadic catch ups over the years and am forever grateful for his guidance throughout my Apprenticeship which stood me in good stead over the years of my working life. I think from memory I was Hillary's first Apprentice.

Hillary was a valued member and friend to members of social table tennis Invercargill. He showed such determination after his stroke to play with his left hand- we were in awe of his ability. His sense of humour and fun were always in abundance. RIP Hillary.
