Sorry to read of the death of your mum. She was an amazing woman, I have memories from those Thornbury days many years ago when your father so tragically died. To raise a family on her own and lead a successful life took a lot of strength and courage. Together again.

My condolences to Mrs Thwaites' family. I have fond memories of boarding with her, at the wee place on George Street, she had large ewes that on occasion she would allow me to watch over while she visited with family outside of Southland. Mrs Thwaites was a strong, independent woman whom was a great role model for me.

I have had the privilege of sharing time with Agnes while visiting my mum in peacehaven.
Agnes had a lovely kind smile and beautiful eyes. I would share my Mums chocolate with her.
I miss chatting with her about the Howe and Crump families.
Rest in peace Agnes after having lived a full and long life.
Love to her family

Kind condolences from Yvonne Smith (daughter of Doug and Alison (Nee Morton) Smith.
Agnes was one of those extended family figures that I met a few times but who was very much part of family narratives. Her passing is another one of the family tree gone. I honour her editing of the History of Seaward Downs. My sympathies to her family.
