Maynard Nola Mary

Peacefully at Southland Hospital, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, aged 84 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Trevor Maynard. Much loved and treasured mum and mother in law of Jan*, Geoff (Winton), Jill and Robert (Wanaka), and Sue (Invercargill). Cherished “Ma” of Michael and Janine, Andrew and Brittany, and loved great grandmother of Eva, Cooper, and Millie. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Marie and Stuart, Margaret*, Wilma and Kevin, Colin and Noeline* and a loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Southland Hospital Medical Ward staff for their beautiful care of Mum in her last few days.

A requiem Mass to celebrate Nola’s life will be held at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Great North Road, Winton, on Saturday 16 May, at 10.00am followed by Nola’s interment at East Winton Cemetery. Messages to 5 Home Street Winton. 

Your life was a blessing to us, your memory now our treasure.
You are loved and missed more than words can say.
Your beloved T will be waiting with open arms.
May the arms of the angels enfold you,
May you rest in peace.
