We remember with much gratitude how Terry attended on our parents in their declining years. So wonderful.

I remember the new years picnic at Waipiata domain where Terry cleaned up in the bike race using the fixed wheel machine. Nobody got near him!
He was a musician to envy in the days before mass media.
Go well Terry

Dear Mrs Murphy, Latesha, Sarah and families,

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Mr Murphy. He was such a wonderful character, musician and family man. Some of my happiest childhood memories were spent at your house - from riding horses to afternoons on the trampoline and in the pool. I will never forget the overwhelming joy when your family surprised me on my 12th birthday with Bosley, the puppy from your beloved Kelly. Your family always made me feel incredibly welcome, and I remember fondly Mr. Murphy's warmth and kindness during those formative years.

Please know that I am thinking of you all and sending my deepest condolences during this incredibly difficult time, especially following the heartbreaking loss of Anita.

With sympathy and love to you all xx
