Passed away at home Tuesday, 26 May 2026, aged 67 years.
A devoted wife to Brent McQuinn, married 43 years and still counting. She was a blessing to anyone who crossed her path. Giving was in her nature, music was in her blood and the lord in her heart.
The musical talent mother possessed was phenomenal, anything she touched became an extension of her. While she kept the fires burning at home, she also volunteered her time with St Johns and Orphan Aid at different stages in her life.
Unwavering mother to Tearoha, Francis & Rachel, William & Ariella, Julia, Marina & Kellin.
Ko te whaea te takere o te waka, she is the heart of the family who carried everyone safely through the waves. Now it is our turn to carry out your wishes. Your mokopuna miss you and your great mokopuna will learn all about you, we will continue to celebrate the memories of you.
Mother will be laying at home 71 Kilmarnock Avenue on Thursday, 28 May, 2026. The doors will be open from 7am for all of you who are wanting to pay your respects, followed by a poroporoaki at 7pm and then laid to rest on Friday, 29 May, 2026 at Mason Road Urupa, 118 Masons Road, Seaward Bush, Invercargill at 10am.
