We are very sorry to read of Max’s passing. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Jean and all the family. I have vivid memories of being tutored the bagpipes by Max as a ten year old, and being mentored by him through the Winton Pipe Band. He had always shown an interest in my continuing piping journey whenever we met up, Sorry we are unable to be at the funeral on Wednesday, but we will be thinking of you all.
RIP Max

Sad news, Condolences to Jean, Lynley and Pete, Chris and family. I still have vivid memories of the sound of bagpipes wafting across Eglinton St.
Good times from the old days in Winton. Reunited with Mick again , (those boys have a lot of catching up to do) . Take care
