1943 – 2026

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Hospice Southland on Friday 26th June 2026.

Devoted husband of Jan for 58 years.

Proud father and father-in-law of Brendan, Patrick and Michelle, Anton and Rachel, Chris and Bridget, Liz and Pete Meulenbroek, Ben and Emma.

Loving Da to Brianna, Liam and Tui; Kate, Jack, Tom and Agnes, and George; Grace, Pippa, Sophie and Eva; Josh, Alex, Daniel and Sasha; Maggie, Theo, Nico and their partners.

Vince was a loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at Vince’s service.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Therese of Lisieux Church, 40 Perth Street Invercargill on Tuesday 30th June 2026 at 1pm.  Interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.

So sorry Jan and family to read of Vin’s passing. I had a good yarn with him last October at Peter Mac’s birthday.
Peter Thompson also the same time. I hope they can meet up in heaven with my Brian. The three were all good mates
