HUNT, Margaret Doris (Marg) nee Burgess:

Of Rowena Jackson Retirement Village. Passed away peacefully at Southland Hospital, Invercargill on 30th June 2026. Aged 86 years.

Cherished wife of Robin Hunt of Rowena Jackson. Dearly loved Mum and Mum-in-law of Sonya and Ian Crook (Manapouri), Pauline and Derek Stenning (Invercargill). Cherished Nanny of Christina and Chris Campbell, and wee Lucy Campbell, Mathew Stenning, all of Invercargill. Loved Aunt of her nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at J Fraser & Sons Chapel, cnr Esk & Doon Streets, Invercargill on Saturday 4th July at 10.30am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St John’s Ambulance Service would be appreciated and maybe left at the service.

Special thank’s to the staff at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village and the team at Southland Hospital for their loving care of Margaret.
