MILNE, Carolyn Joy.

Passed away peacefully by her loving husband’s side, on Saturday 18th July 2026. Aged 71 years. Dearly loved wife of Neil. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Greg and Lana, Kristy and Stefan, and Nigel and Ange. Cherished sister, sister-in-law, and grandmother. Special thanks to Carol and Valerie, along with the Oncology Team at Dunedin Hospital for their compassionate care. Strong, independent, and wonderfully stubborn, Carolyn faced life on her own terms while always keeping her family, friends, and community close to her heart. In accordance with Carolyn’s wishes, a private service has been held. Messages to 14 Factory Road, Hedgehope or to Carolyn's tribute page at frasersfunerals.co.nz/tributes

To the most caring considerate loving sister I knew. You walked beside me for my whole 69 years. Though thick and thin . You stood by me when I was at my worst and encouraged me to carry on. You always said we both had a it of mongrel in us . I’ll take that. See you in the afterlife 💞

My deepest sympathy to the family, I had the absolute pleasure of being on Central Southland Netball Centre Management with Carolyn for many years.
A truly remarkable courageous lady who always put others first even as she fought valiantly herself with her health. I am thankful to have known Carolyn over many years due to our love of netball.
