Liz passed away peacefully on the 28th July 2026 after a long illness.

Beloved wife of John. Dearly loved and devoted mother and mother-in-law of William*; Bridget and Michael. Treasured Granny of Ollie and Max. Loving sister, sister-in-law and aunty of the English and O’Meara families.

RIP “Gentle in her love, loyal in her ways”

A Requiem Mass for Liz will be celebrated in the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Winton on Tuesday 4th August at 1.00pm followed by Liz’s burial at the East Winton Cemetery.

I send my deepest condolences to Uncle John and cousin Bridget and husband and children. It is so hard to lose a mother, Bridget, so I wish you peace and some quiet times in the coming challenging days, weeks and months. Uncle John, you have lost your beloved wife and companion, a gentle and light-hearted woman who always looked amazing! I acknowledge William at this time as well - your cherished son. I am sorry I can't be at the funeral tomorrow in Winton but I will light a candle for Aunty Liz (my Godmother) here in Melbourne and will be thinking of you all.
