FENSOM, Arthur James: (Jim)

After a courageous battle Jim passed away with Mary by his side, at Peacehaven Village, Invercargill on Tuesday 8th September 2026, aged 63 years.

Dearly loved husband of Mary and *Bonnie Fensom.

Loved father and father in law of Colin and Jill O’Brien (Blenheim), Julie and Melvin Hall (Drummond), Loved Poppa of Caryssa & Cory, Braedon and Emma, Melissa and Kalib, Shannon and Angus. Loved Poppa Jim of Shelby and Elayna; Finn; Charlotte, Lucca and Nixon; Ruben and Brody.

A special Friend to Jayne and *Mick, Abbey-May and Daisy Reynolds; Steven Race and Katie Race. Loved youngest Brother and brother-in-law of *Jeff and *Mike and Gay Gould. Loved Brother-in-law of Anne & Henry Siave (Christchurch), Claire and Martin Chamberlain (New Plymouth), Des and Lynda Ford (Invercargill), Jim and Jude Ford (Drummond), Joe and friend Christi (USA), Colleen Burdon (Gore). Loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Monday 14th September 2026 at Southand Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road, Invercargill, at 2pm. No flowers by request but donations can be made at the service to Hospice Southland.
