FORD, Lynda Joy (nee Wilson)

After a courageous battle, Lynda passed away with Des by her side, at home in Invercargill on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, aged 59 years.

Dearly loved wife of Des. Treasured daughter of Nola*, Arch and Wendy.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Albie and Anna, Harry and Melissa, Jack and Josh (Auckland). Loved Nana of Alice, Matilda and Ollie.

Loved younger sister and sister-in-law of Debbie and Brian McEwan. Loved sister-in-law of Mary and Jim* Fensom (Invercargill), Anne and Henry Siave (Christchurch), Claire and Martin Chamberlain (New Plymouth), Jim and Jude Ford (Drummond), Joe and Christi (USA), Colleen and Chris* Burdon (Gore). Loved Aunty of all her nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Lynda’s life will be held on Saturday, 19th September at 10.30am in J Fraser & Sons Chapel, Corner Esk & Doon Streets, Invercargill. No flowers by request, but donations can be left at the service for Hospice Southland. Messages to 206 Chelmsford Street, Invercargill 9810 (*denotes deceased)
