WILSON Murray David (Muzz)


Suddenly passed away on Sunday 20th September 2026, aged 66 years.
Dearly loved husband of Yvonne.
Cherished dad and father in law of Jaidyn and Bonnie, Tiegan and Nicol and the late Dallas.
Family sincerely thank Otago Southland Rescue Helicopter, Wanaka Fire Brigade and Police, and those who stopped to help and offered their kindness and support.
As per Murray’s wishes a private service has been held.

Our condolences to the family . Our staff have been working with Murray for over 30 years and always enjoyed his company and humour. I remember many a trip after visiting Bluff and Murray having managed to score a jar of oysters of the boats, spending the rest of the day beside me sliding them down with a wide smile on his face. I was selling paint but we managed to spend more time calling on hardware shops to discuss what toilets he needed for his first new house he was building - good times.
