I was lucky enough to work with Pat for six years in the 1980’s. she was Charge Nurse in Recovery, Operating Theatre & I was the Theatre Admin Officer. She was so professional yet funny, a marvellous nurse & tremendous colleague. She had so much knowledge & was more than happy to share it. A delightful lady - one I will never forget. My best wishes to Pat’s family.

Always illuminating company and conversations with many yarns and great stories shared, you were such a strong lady...... Always beautiful and always presented with such grace, we loved your cheekiness. What I appreciate & loved the most was I got to see where my Sarah got her strength and determination from ...She reminds me a lot of you : )
You will be missed but your legacy lives on with your family and the great-grandkids. Rip Pat Lots of Love Tristan

To the dear family of Patricia. I never had the pleasure of meeting Pat in person but did connect on FaceTime via Dave and Larni. We had also read articles about Pat’s long career in nursing and all the things she had achieved in her lifetime. An amazing mum to Dave who loved her dearly, and who welcomed our daughter with open arms into her home and family.
After a strong battle, she can now Rest In Peace
God speed.
Love from the Malcolm family in Whangarei X

My sincere condolences to the Goodwill family at this sad time.
I can still hear that very Scottish brogue ringing in my ears.
Those were good times and great memories of those days when we worked at Kew.
You will be greatly missed Pat by all your family and friends .
