A mighty oak has fallen. Stephen was loved and respected as a work colleague and friend. His support, hugs and humour always welcomed. So very sorry for your loss which has saddened us all.
Mel Greenfield, Invercargill
As chairman of Community Services for ICC, I had great respect for Stephen. Part of his portfolio was to report monthly to the council in regard to community housing. He always kept me informed of any problems and believed in a no-surprises policy. He would often resolve problems before they came one. I can say without contradiction Stephen was a loyal head of department - loyal to me and staff. He had great work ethics and humor. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. Condolences to Jill and family members.
Lindsay Abbott, Invercargill
