Dear David, Pam, Ann, Ian and families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as Valerie rests in Jesus waiting for His return. Although we met her only briefly, we remember her as a kind, friendly and helpful cousin. She will be missed. May you feel God's loving arms around you.
With loving sympathy,
Val, Colleen, Heather and John and families (your Aunty Doreen's children) xxxx

My sister
Valerie was a very protective, loyal, caring big sister to me. she was also stubborn and strong willed which didn't always serve her well. When I was born she was given the the responsibility to take care of me. She did that well without much thanks from me I’m sad to say. Valerie showed me she would guard me through thick and thin. We had many secrets when I was a kid. She bribed me and, in turn I blackmailed her. Valerie was OCD with everything she did. (She was a perfectionist) which frustrated me because I was the opposite. She would have made a wonderful mom. She was never given the chance. Valerie read to me every night. She got up to tend to me during the night when I bugged her, with no complaints. Valerie and Aunty Elsie were very close all through Valerie’s life. Aunty Elsie always told me she wanted to adopt Valerie. They were as close as mother and daughter. so she can be there with the Aunties and Mom
Love you and miss you always. Ann RIP.
