I worked with Myles in the Invercargill Fire Brigade. He was very good to me and we shared a big interest in motor bikes. It was amazing when he got the gold wing and Lorraine really liked being on it to. I will never forget Myles as he also introduced me to cabin bread which he had for snacks on night shift and I still enjoy to this day. Rest easy my old mate and you will be back with your soulmate once again. Wayne Harper

Also worked with Myles in the Invercargill Fire Brigade and found him easy to get on with, a no nonsense sort of guy who, if given a job to do, would just go and do it, no fuss, no bother although not frightened to say what he thought. Totally reliable in tight situations where team work was essential in getting the job done. Rest in peace - Myles
