Very sad to lose our friend and fellow bowler . He will be missed by many.

Pete, Thank you for being a special part of our family. Today is a sad day for our family. I know Aunty Francis and Roy would be devastated today. Thank you for meeting me in Invercargill airport recently after Uncle Ross died. Ill always cherish your smiley face, good humour and fun times with Aunty Bessie. Say a big hello to Aunty Izzie and Poppa! Xxx

Pete was a respected member of the Invercargill Community Patrol Organisation. I will miss patrolling with him and sharing stories.

Pete, my bowling partner for the last two years. You were a great inspiration for me, I will miss your high fives and high tens when I got a strike. You are now free from pain and suffering. R.I.P.

Rest easy Pete. We had some good times on Mondays after Bowling, with a few beers and a lot of laughs.

So sorry to read of the death of my cousin, Peter. Sad to say we didn't keep in touch very often but I did talk to him during lockdown. I visited his Dad, Roy, quite frequently when he was in Rowena Jackson Retirement Home up until he died. Roy was the older brother of my Mum, Dorothy Roberts (nee McMillan) and as a family we visited them often when we went to our holiday home in Queenstown when they lived in Queenstown. I enjoyed going to Ten Pin Bowling with a few friends some time ago, and always enjoyed meeting up with Peter and I have great memories of that time in my life.
