Mervyn and I would like to pass on our respects to the family of Les. You probably won’t know who we are but we used to live at Otahuti not far from the family farm before we moved to Otapiri Gorge in 1984. We have fond memories of get-togethers with neighbours and friends including Les in those days. Les also drove the courtesy bus when Mrs Agnes Frew, my mother-in-law and also my mother Fonnie Russell were in Rowena Jackson. He will be missed. Kind Regards,
Marie & Mervyn Frew, Otapiri Gorge, Winton

So sorry to hear that Les has passed away, He was a great man loved by so many especially children who he drove to school each day, they will have many memories. I also have fond memories of a very faithful employee who gave everything to his bus driving skills.
I was disappointed I could not be there to his farewell to be with the family, my condolences to you all.
