VETTERS, Gordon Stephen (Flash).

Aged 58. Passed away peacefully at Hospice Southland surrounded by family after a long illness on Sunday 3 January 2021. Partner of Denise. Father of Annie, Stephanie and Thomas; stepfather of Michelle, Lisa, Richard, and Sarah. Grandfather of all his grandchildren. Cherished son of the late Archie and Edith. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Archie, Trudi, the late TC, Roundy and Wendy, Bruce and Irene; and uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Best friend of Wayne. Special thanks to the caring staff of Southland Hospital and Hospice Southland. A service for Flash will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Thursday 7 January at 2pm followed by committal at Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and can be made at the service.
