It was a privilege to have known Roddy and we first met Anne,Roddy and family when we lived at the Manapouri Hydro Village from 1974.
Roddy was so easy to talk to and loved chatting about rugby. He was always generous with his time and was so proud of his family.
I enjoyed his company when we made those trips to Lumsden for rugby meetings. Roddy's presence in Manapouri will be sorely missed but his legacy lives on through his wonderful family who were a pleasure to teach and know.
To Anne, Alan,Stacey,Gerald and Gareth we extend our heartfelt sympathy.
