Russell, David George: With heavy hearts Brenda, Keir and Mariya must share the news that David died at Southland Hospital Emergency Department on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. David was the dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Jeanette* and Ian* Deacon, Lindsay* and Sharon Russell, Joanne and Grenville* Robinson, Dawn and Alan Harrison, Trevor and Marilyn Matheson, and Karron and Jimmy* Pink. A loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Valued friend and mentor to many. A service to celebrate David’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill on Tuesday, January 26 at 11.00am. Brenda, Keir and Mariya, and family, I am so very sorry to hear of David's passing and, with the haematologists, want to say that we are thinking of you all. We will remember Dave's tremendous positivity during his treatment and desire to move forward with his life. Take care of each other.
