RILEY Clayton John

Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday 1st February 2021, aged 59 years.

Cherished husband and best friend of Barb.

Loved, devoted and proud dad of Hamish, Olivia and Emma.

Dearly loved fourth son of Owen and Joy Riley.

Sorely missed and much loved Brother and brother in law of Neil and Lyn, Stacie and Lindsay Dow, Andrew and Yvonne (Brisbane), Hugh and Wendy (Nelson), Justin and Moira (Napier).

Favourite Uncle of all his nieces and nephews and families.

A service to honour and celebrate Clayton’s life will be held on Friday 5th February 2021, 1.30pm, at the Invercargill Christian Centre, 165 Leet Street, Invercargill.  A private interment at Eastern Cemetery will follow.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service.

Special thanks to Dr Ewan Adam, District Nursing and Hospice Staff, and the Health Care Workers for their awesome care of Clayton.

I feel great sorrow to hear of the death of Clayton whom I had known for over 20years since we were Kip McGrath colleagues.
He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends, former students, teaching staff and colleagues.

I remember Clayton from my days as a pupil at Rosedale intermediate.
He was a lovely guy then .
Caught up with him when my oldest daughter was at kip McGrath. He remembered exactly who I was . Was an absolute wonderful guy.
