It is with great sadness that I write a small tribute. Pete always went out of his way to stop and have a catchup. There was always sincerity and genuine conversation and he would hug me and say take care, look after yourself.
It is now time to rest pete. You take care
I also send hugs to david, my favourite customer at the fonterra canteen, and Susan and families

Dear Susan and family, Rodney and Kui, Neville and Glenda, Robyn and Jason. I was saddened and shocked to read of the sudden loss of Peter. He was always a positive person to have around and always a laugh or two. He will be greatly missed. We were going to come down for his send off but with the Covid Level 2 now in place have decided it will be best to stay home and leave it for the close family etc to make up the 100.
We hope to catch up with the odd one or two of you in the coming months.

Our deepest condolences to Pete’s family. We kind of adopted Pete over the years and my kids loved coming to “Pete’s Shop” on a Friday after school. He always greeted them by name, gave them a hug and asked about school and the family. Such a warm, delightful man who will be deeply missed.
