The patriarch of the Schuck Family has passed after 91 years of a life well lived. Emigrating to New Zealand as a single man he sure has left an impressive family tree. Bill’s proud career in NZ Police was a testament to morale values, family values and a strong sense of justice, punctuated with lots of laughs and good times at his beautiful home in Antrim Street and later Makarewa. He was a bit of a legend in those years and we are proud to have had him show us the ropes as junior constables under his guidance. Rest easy Bill - a great policeman, an even greater family man and good friend to many. Sincere condolences to Pauline, Jacque and all the family. Barry and Sharron Taylor

My heartfelt sorrows to Bill's Family. He was like a 2nd Dad to us young fellas when we arrived in Invercargill back in the late 70's. He certainly provided us with lots of entertainment and laughs whilst being so very professional in his job. Lots of great memories and his legacy will last long into the future.

So sorry to hear Bill has passed away. As a latter owner of the holiday park you both poured so much love into, it was lovely meeting you and hearing all the tales (many hilarious) of the development of the property. Rest in Peace.
