We only knew you for 7 years Mervyn but it was like you were a life long friend. We had a lot of fun times when we got together. Our road trips were full of antics and laughter. Very special memories. The four of us. You'll always be remembered for being carefree, caring and jovial.
Until we meet again rest in peace dear mate. You'll never be forgotten.
Heartfelt sympathy to my best friend Karen and to all Mervyns family.

Merv I have known you for 30yrs, it was a honour and privilege to call you my friend, you were family to me. You were a fantastic grandfather to Samantha and I thank you, you were always there for her and a friend to me. We have had some great conversations and laughs over the years, i remember when you told me to grown up, to which you were right, and I did. You say what you mean, you don’t always say what you feel for your loved ones but we knew. You lived a good life and the last the better with Karen, you two traveled and built your home, loved your animals and kids, you were a child at heart. Today is hard to say good bye, we will be wearing our gumboots in honour of who you were, A top man, thank you for being you. RIP x
