Peacefully at Clare House, Invercargill on Wednesday 21 April 2021; aged 83 years. Dearly beloved husband of the late Mary. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Wayne and Helen; Jack and Anne; Michelle and Pete; Louise and Rob. Loved grandfather of Kate and Sam, Sophie, Charlotte, Alice, and Cooper. Great-grandfather of Mara, and Daisy; and Henry. A Requiem Mass to celebrate Mick’s life will be held in the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Winton, on Saturday, April 24, at 10.30am, followed by interment at East Winton Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, April 23, at 5.00pm, at the church. A special thank you to those who provided care to Mick over the last two years and in his last days at Clare House.
