SHERBORNE, James George (Jim). (4311186 LAC 5SU RNZAF WWII) Peacefully, on May 4 2021. In the loving care of family, and the staff at Vickery Court Resthome; aged 98 years. Dearly loved husband of Winifred (Winn)* Much loved father and father in law of Brian and Lynn, Ian and Sharen and the late Liz, Anne, Ruth and Mike Humphreis. Loved Grandad of all his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jim’s family wish to recognize, commend and thank the staff of Vickery Court Rest Home and Hospital - past and present - for the exceptional and outstanding love and care extended to Jim (and his late wife Winn) over more than 10 years.
A service for Jim will be held in J Fraser and Sons’ Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, on Friday 7 May 2021 commencing at 10.30 am. His interment will follow at the Eastern Cemetery. Messages to 166 Wilton Street, Rosedale, Invercargill 9810
