Condolences to all of the family – I was saddened to read of Barbara’s passing – She will I am sure be greatly missed by all of you.
Barbara is a person I remember with affection from our younger days – she always liked a ride on my motorbike, home from Church, Caleb club or from Kingswell High – she was a happy and charming person who has been taken from you all far too young.
May God be with you all as I know Barbara is with Him through your time of remembrance.

Barb was such a kind & compassionate teacher who had a great rapport with her students, teachers and community.. She was so passionate with the school production and she got a kick out of encouraging Greg and his friends to be part of it in their year 13. Greg and Ben enjoyed her banter and laughs and “talks” and I appreciated her as their teacher who always cared on their welfare. Rest In Peace, Barb.

My path and Barb's only crossed briefly on the Te Ahu o Te Reo Māori course in Invercargill but she impressed me with her warmth and sincerity, lovely sense of fun and laughter and obvious concern for her students. So very sad to learn of her passing.
Arohanui to all her whānau, friends, colleagues and students.
