Nance, so many special lovely memories visiting you on Duncan Street. Your spinning wheel, famous chocolate chippie biscuits, family photos all over the walls, diabetic chocolates for Christmas with a roll of toilet paper :) You and Louie are such a special part of my life, always and forever our adopted Grandparents. No Mum, lol Nance, in my heart and memories forever. Rest in Peace Nance, my love to our lovely Louie Nick xx

Dear Family,

With profound regret my wife Doris and I are not able to be at the service today because of the weather.

I am a second cousin to Nancy and knew the Horn family since my infant days (eighty years ago). Doris and I visited your Mum and Dad in Te Anau occasionally and more recently at Peacehaven.

I had a brother Walter who died at the early age of 14 and after his funeral Lewis and Nancy took another brother (there had been seven of us) and me for a week with them on the farm at Waimumu. What a kind gesture to two grieving young boys.

Last week I told Heather Moffat that I intended being at today's service and would bring her back a service sheet. That won't happen now. We will visit you father soon and I wonder if he could possibly retain two for Heather and us.

Please ,Brent and Janet and all you family, accept our sincere sympathies. Tell Lewis we are very sad that Nancy has died and we will visit him as soon as we know where he might be.
