Our family have fond memories of Heather and Winston from our years spent in kennington . They both did so much for the township . The tennis courts and the Friday night badminton would be our families favourites . Our thoughts are with you all

We are so sad to read of Heather's passing. Last time I was speaking to her told her we would see her soon as we are coming over. We were both excited. Love and Hugs to you all. I still can't believe she has gone . Our thoughts are with you all 😍❤

Heather, was our friendly neighbour from Gardiner Road.
She always had an interest it what the kids were doing and never turned down a chance for a good chat.
We’ll retain our fond memories of this time.
Sincere condolences to all the family.

My husband Stan Bulling and me, Dorothy Bulling always enjoyed spending time with Heather and Winston. Stan grew up in Rimu where his father Charlie and Uncle Herman ran the Rimu Store. Later both went farming in the district. Stan attended Rimu School along with Heather. Sadly Stan died last September and I cherish a sympathy card from Heather. My thoughts go out to the family. Rest In Peace Heather.

Heather was my Dads cousin and for as long as I can remember we would always visit Heather (And Winston) on all visits to Invercargill, she knew every person in the family, every story and all the history of our family which I loved hearing about. After my father passed away 7 years ago I kept in contact with Heather and Winston monthly and then Heather after Winstons passing, as my only connection to my Dad and as someone who was so caring and selfless and had so much to say I really enjoyed talking to her. I'm glad she is at peace but very sad I won't get to see her in September when we were due to visit. The last thing I always said to her was I love you and it was only a week or so ago spoke to her last. I'm so sorry to everyone in the family, this is a great loss. Please know she was well thought of in our family and someone we appreciated who looked after my Grandmother when we were not around. A woman who was so wonderful its hard to realise she is no longer here. I will be watching the live stream, thank you. Hugs for you all x

So sad to hear of Heather’s passing. One of my earliest memories as a little girl, was the wedding of Heather and Winston. We loved catching up when they came to Australia - in spite of tough times with health concerns, they were always fun and definitely my favourite aunty and uncle. Heather was a lovely lady. Our condolences to all her loved ones.

Heather has been a longtime friend to myself and a mutual friend Margret Gilroy over many years.
Had many cuppas and chats along with the laughs and catching up on what each others kids were up to.
Its a tad sad that she never got more time at the new townhouse.
As we will be out of town on Friday we will not be at the funeral.
Deepest sympathy to all the family
