COVENEY, Neil William. Passed away peacefully at Rowena Jackson Village, Invercargill. On Wednesday August 11, 2021. Dearly loved husband of Carole. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Russell (Oamaru) Stephen and Kylie (Winton) Carolyn and Scott Watson (Otautau). Loved Pop of James and Cody Watson; Miley and Eva Coveney. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Murray and Jane (Te Anau) Warren and Glenis (Te Anau) Carol and Ray Christmas (Invercargill). Loved brother-in-law of Bain Russell (W.A.) Denise and Mark Butson (Outram) Loved teaser of all his nieces and nephews. A celebration of Neil’s life will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 1.30pm, on Monday August 16. Private cremation thereafter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left at the service for Parkinson’s NZ (Southland). So sad to hear of Neils passing. Neil introduced me to the game of Bowls. We played many Tournaments together always such good company. Neil ran the raffles here at RSA for a number of years. My sincere sympathy to you Carole and all your family.
