Kubrycht, David Janek: A bright light has gone from the Kubrycht family. David passed away peacefully at Rowena Jackson on August 10, 2021, aged 77 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished husband of Janis. Truly loved father and mentor of Amy (Invercargill) and Ewan (Dubai). Much-loved brother and brother-in-law of Alick and Sandra Kubrycht, Isabella and George Simpson, Jennifer Kubrycht, John and Jan Kubrycht and Hazel and Eddie Leedham, all of Scotland. Fun-loving Deye to Josh, Sam, Maria, Anna and Sophia. Well-respected uncle of his nieces and nephews. Friend to many. Sincere thanks to everyone who cared for David and the unfailing support to Janis and the family. As per David’s wishes a private family cremation has been held.
