Beryl, thank you for your smiles, your kindness, and your great charisma and beautiful heart.
With my family we have words of gratitude, you will always remain in our hearts, your actions are full of blessings for you and your beloved family.

Your Beryl, along with Jack are part of our family in New Zealand, for this reason, we thank God and Our Lady for being on our way and filling us with their words and teachings.

Condolences to Beryls family, she was a lovely lady, always welcomed you at her table, fond memories of her growing up on the farm while kicking around with Graham.

Beryl, it was an absolute pleasure and privilege to have known you and to have worked alongside you. You were the most positive person I have met and such an inspiration to everyone around you. Will definitely be taking on board a lot of your wise words into my life especially from our conversations from earlier in the year.
Your passion for work was unparalleled and have learned so much from you over the years. You have invited us to your home and made us feel part of your family especially around the time when I had my first baby. Your caring and kind ways were always a comfort and made us feel special. Your faith has always reinforced my own faith and still remember the last Hail Mary we said together when we were in a very rough spot and how managed to get through it. I am really sad that you are no longer in our lives but it is a relief to know that you are no longer suffering and will be in Heaven looking down on us (and probably shaking your head at something we did and wanting to tell us how to do it right :) ).
You will be dearly missed but knowing you have made our lives a whole lot richer and beautiful. Will always remember you and will continue to try to be half as good as you in our work. You had such love for all your family and we can only imagine what they have gone through over the last few years. Our prayers and thoughts are with all your family especially Natalie and Jack.
Going to miss your smiling face, all the jokes and laughter we used to share and most of all your infinite wisdom and rock solid faith .
With love, Deepthy

Jack, Receive from Colombia our fraternal greetings and our embrace of solidarity extended to your family.
We accompany you with our heartfelt prayers to God to receive her in paradise as a reward for the excellent human being she was. We have the best memories of Beryl in our visits to New Zealand, where we always found the open doors of her heart and her home, with that love and value of home that characterized her.
She was for Adriana, Alex and Jeronimo like a mother in Invercargill, that is how we expressed and felt.
We know that her memory will last forever.
From the bottom of our hearts, our perpetual gratitude.

Beryl, I’m so lost for words. You were taken far too young and with so much life and love left to give. You are one of the most passionate and caring people I’ve ever met. I absolutely loved every minute of working with you, you had such an amazing ability to make even the darkest situations light. You became like a mother to me during my short stay in Invercargill, hosting me for Christmas’, having my parents come to stay with you, letting me drop in on you regularly and even stay there with you when you knew I felt homesick… I was one of the many orphans you housed, your kindness knew no bounds. I will hold those memories dear to my heart, will be so sorely missed. Rest now, knowing that the world is a better place because you were in it. All my love to you Beryl.

Dearest cousin Beryl, I met you really only twice. Once when I was 16 years old. I think that you were a year younger than I . The other time was when we stayed with you to go to the Johns Family Reunion. You had my Mother (Violet) and my Brother Grant and I to stay over with you. You drove us up to Belfast so we could all go to the reunion. I found you to be the sweetest, kindest and loving soul. I look forward one day to meeting up with you again; and having a good talk, and a cuppa (with biscuits and green gauge plums). Rest gently and enjoy your new freedom from all the cares that you have left behind you. I will alway have a love for you dearie. Love from Catriona xxxxx

Our Beryl x You've been the best mother to Graham and Natalie and Nana to your gorgeous grandchildren. I am so privileged and blessed to have you as part of my life and family and we will all miss you more than I could ever express. Your love of us and our love for you was so beautiful and our memories will always be treasured. Thank you for all of your love and support, always sound advice and unconditional acceptance. You took on this illness with such grace and strength but it was time for you to no longer have the struggle and be at peace. I know to have Graham with you through your last days and hours will have brought you immense peace and for that we are thankful.
I will miss our chats, your laugh, your humor, your incredible intellect and most of all our friendship. You have been like a Mum to me for many many years and our family will not be the same without you :(
Fly high our beautiful Beryl, we will all miss you so much x
