Our deepest sympathy to the Young family. I first meet Betty at Southland Hospital delivering the beautiful floral bouquets to patients there, she was such a beauty inside and out, then again many years later when my husband worked for her and Bevan part time at Young’s Garden Centre, North Road. They were such a wonderful, lovely couple that left a deep impression on the both of us.

With much love to all the Young family. Bet and Bevan were loyal lifelong friends of the Mark family and many happy times were spent in Invercargill and Queenstown with them. Thinking of you all with much love and with happy memories.

Graeme and family, so sorry to read of your mother's passing and thinking of you all at this difficult time. Wishing that your lifetime of memories will bring you comfort now and keep your mother close to you in the future. "Gone from your sight, but never your memories- Gone from your touch, but never your hearts."
Dawn and Jessie Geange, Chris White, Invercargill
Thinking of all the Young family at this sad time. Your Mum was a special friend to my Mum - May Geddes - who worked for Youngs Florist in Invercargill. We all came to live in Queenstown, and Betty was such a dear friend to Mum and myself. After Mum passed, Betty and I became good friends sharing baking, gardening, and even shared our birthday dates just one day apart. After your Mum and Dad moved to Woodend we visited them there, then in Christchurch, and back at Rowena Jackson to see your Mum. I will always remember Betty's baking - especially her forcer biscuits. She was such a wonderful community person, and lots of us in Queenstown will remember her with love.
