I'm going to miss Don down at the river very much. He was an awesome mate and we had lots of great times with him, telling lies and solving the problems of the day. He was a mentor too, his glass-half-full attitude and approach to things will remain with me always. I hope you got that 20 pound lift as you passed on Don, me ol' mate. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Sincere condolences to Sue and family from May Evans, ex Otatara. Now at 53 Martin Street Sue. Treasure the memories and don't let your sadness stop you enjoying the rest of your life Sue. Don was larger than life but you were a big part of that life. Thinking of you over these trying days.

Thinking of you and your family at the passing of Don, my memory would be that Dave went to school with him.
It's many years ago now since I lived over the street from you in John Street, and our children were friends, and we did plunket, kindy, and school things. So many good memories of those days.

Very fond memories of Sue & Don visiting the UK to see their family, taking road trips around the country & tales from Scotland. Oh, & the good humour as we sheltered under a tree while the rain pelted down putting paid for a while to the bbq! A lovely man, & we send our love to Sue & the family at this time xx
