Formerly of Mossburn, late of Abbeyfield Frankton

On Friday 15 October 2021, with Terry and David by her side.  Much loved wife and best friend of Murray*.  Loved mother and mother in law of Terry and George McMeeken, David and Barbara.  Loved Nan of Rory, Jaimee and Liam*, and Sean and Leoni; Ben and Jay, Dylan and Charlotte, and Amber.  Adored Great Nan of Alex.  Loved sister and sister in law of Brian (Friday) and Lorraine Gallagher, Leonard*, Allison*, Noeline*, Arnold*, Beverley*, and Joyce* and all their spouses.  Loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews.  In accordance with family wishes a private cremation has been held.  A memorial service to celebrate the life of Irene will be held on Tuesday 26th October in the Mossburn Community Centre, Mossburn at 2pm.  Vibrant attire requested by Irene.  Due to Covid restrictions, numbers are limited to 100 but a livestream will be available to view Irene’s service.
