ANDERSON, Edith May ‘May’.

Formerly of Gore, aged 97. Passed peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday 21 November 2021. Beloved wife of the late Morrie, and special friend of Les. Adored Mum and mother-in-law of Eileen and Jim Bright (Ingll), Beverley and the late Douglas Soper, and friend Max (Ingll), Valerie and Kerryn Brown (Temuka), Glenys and Allan Henderson (Alexandra). Dearly loved “Nana A” of her 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be a private service to celebrate May’s life to be held in the Gore District Memorial RSA (Inc) on Tuesday 23 November (today) at 1:30pm, followed by private interment at Gore Cemetery. Grateful thanks to the staff of Peacehaven for their dedicated, loving care.
