BLANE Margaret Jessie Stewart of Dipton West (formally of Perth, Scotland). Passed away peacefully at home in her 81st year after a long illness surrounded by close family and her loving cats. Beloved wife of Raymond Francis Blane (deceased) Beloved mother of Robert, Ray and Steve. Deeply cherished sister of Irene and Aunt to John, Sally, Mark and William in NZ. And loving Aunt to Bob, Katherine, Heather, Malcolm, Michael and Cleone in the UK.
Sincere thanks to the Doctors and nursing staff on the ED and Medical wards of Kew Hospital, Invercargill for looking after Margaret over the last couple of years, and thank you so much to the team at Hospice Southland for looking after Mum for the short time she was there. A severe debt of gratitude is extended to the Doctors and medical staff of Winton Medical Services for years of support and finally, St John Ambulance Service who came so quickly when help was desperately needed - thank you St John. We could not have cared and looked after Margaret without ALL your support.
As per Margaret's request a small private service of family members, close friends and medical staff will be held at Invercargill Crematorium on Friday 26th July 2019 at 1pm.
