MCDOWALL, Margaret Joy. On Thursday morning, 23rd December 2021, Margaret passed away peacefully with family, at Southland Hospital.

Dearly loved wife, soul mate and friend of Blake for 61 years. Treasured, admired and loved mum, mother in law of Joanne, Tanya, Albert and Anna.

Fun, one of a kind, and caring Nana of Makere and TeAniwa, Ranel and Mason, George and Georgie, Stanley, Rheana, and great grandmother to Willow, Frankie and Archie. Much loved sister of Murray, Bev and the late Ray. Friend to many.

As per Margaret’s wishes a private cremation has been held.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, 30th December 2021, 10.30am in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Please note mum would like people attending her service to wear casual clothing and men no ties. This will be a My Vaccine Pass entry only. Please allow plenty of time to have your pass scanned.
